I left a comfortable career as an engineer working in an office. Once discovering the positive impact I could make on the land, for my community and for myself, there was no other choice.
My name is Karel Bunker. And I am part of the change of agriculture.
Starting in the summer of 2017 on land in Crozet, Virginia, Bunker Farms commits to producing high quality, integrity food for local consumers. We currently specialize in tender greens and gourmet root vegetables as well as grass-fed lamb. While a perfectly ‘regenerative’ farm is difficult to achieve, we strive to leave as many beneficial footprints as possible while being an example of a viable agriculture business in today’s rapidly evolving environment.
